Dates and times

The Fair will be held from 13-17 February at the Ouaga 2000 International Conference Centre in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

The Fair will officially open on 12 February by the Prime Minister of Burkina Faso.

During the seven days of the event, the Fair will be opened from 8.30 a.m. to 7.30 p.m.

Please arrange that stands have a presenter at all time. The Fair will be held essentially in the two official languages used by ADEA– English and in other languages when possible.

Postage and shipping of Materials

The Ministry of Education of Burkina Faso will be responsible for reception of the material sent in advance. Please note that it is very important to carefully and correctly label and number your packages sent via the Ministry. Therefore we request that packages clearly identify the name of the organizations which registered for the Fair, as follows:

Shipping cost of materials

All transportation costs are to be covered by the participants. Please note that ADEA is not responsible for shipping back the materials of exhibitors at the end of the Fair.

Setting up the Booth

The setting up of the booth will start on 11 February.

Participants should finalize their booths by 11 February at 6.00 p.m.

The Ministry of Education of Burkina Faso) will:

  • make available the material which will be needed to compose the booths (tables, chairs and panels)
  • provide electricity to each booth
  • provide each Fair participant with a booth with 3 walls. The space will be adjustable and

will be adapted according to the needs of each participant

Security

Certain participants’ materials and equipment can be locked each night in a room if necessary. Nevertheless, participants are responsible for looking after their booths’ items and materials during the Fair.
