From Burkina Faso to Morocco: the Kingdom to host the 2017 ADEA Triennale

It is official: “ADEA Triennale 2017 will be held in Morocco”, Ambassador Mustapha Jebari of the Kingdom of Morocco announced on behalf of H.E. Dr Lahcen Daoudi, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Professional Training, during the 42nd Session of the ADEA Steering Committee held in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire from December 3rd to 5th 2015 at the African Development Bank Group (AfDB).

The ADEA Triennale (formerly Biennale) has established itself as the largest continental forum for policy dialogue and sharing of knowledge and fruitful experiences in the field of education. Having become a Triennale in 2012, it places exchanges and critical themes on the transformation of African education systems on the agenda, to serve development. The 2017 Triennale is an extension of the previous forums but is closely linked to the current context and future perspectives with new African and global initiatives on education and development.
